Bíó Paradís sýnir nýjar áhugaverðar kvikmyndir frá öllum heimshornum auk hverskyns eldri mynda erlendra sem innlendra, hýsir kvikmyndahátíðir og stendur fyrir hverskyns kvikmyndatengdum viðburðum. Þá eru reglulegar skólasýningar í húsinu þar sem markmiðið er að efla þekkingu og menntun á þessari mikilvægu listgrein.
Í Bíó Paradís er einnig að finna veitingahús og verslun með mynddiska og annan kvikmyndatengdan varning.
Bíó Paradís er því nokkurskonar hjarta kvikmyndamenningar í landinu; áfangastaður allra þeirra sem vilja eiga góðar stundir í afslöppuðu umhverfi sem angar af andrúmslofti kvikmyndanna.

Premiere screening in Iceland of the Aestetik Documentary Film within DesignMarch programme presented by the New Visual Culture Foundation and produced by Adept Works, about impact of the environment on human activities. First of a trilogy narrating about the impact of the environment on human activities. Documentary about the beauty hidden in everyday life around us in the people, landscapes and objects. The filmmakers tried to understand both within the original environment, nature and climate of Scandinavia, where aesthetics is the main everyday philosophy manifests approach to work, the choice of materials, shapes and colors.
«Aestetik» is a collection of opinions of prominent representatives of Scandinavian design, architecture and art on the theme of visual culture and its future. The film was made for people interested in art and culture, for professionals in the field of design and architecture, for those who care about the visual content in any form or manner.
Aestetik Film was presented as a special screenings in Copenhagen (Danish Film Institute), Helsinki (Helsinki Design Week), Kiev (screening by L’Officiel), Moscow (Garage Contemporary Museum) and worldwide premiere in St.Petersburg (International Cultural Forum).
