Godchilla are three mysterious boys ripping sludgy waves. This Reykjavík-based surf-doom band first grabbed attention in 2013 upon releasing one song on 19 limited floppy disks. They quickly garnered a reputation for loud, intense live performances with elaborate visual and atmospheric elements. Their live intensity is equality reflected on their powerful debut album, Cosmatos, which came out in fall 2014 and was recorded in Stúdíó Sýrland. Their overall sound is a seamless blend of ethereal aggression, meditative patterns and shamanic grooves, which holds their audiences as devoted captive subjects.
Godchilla spila leyndardómsdagsrokk. Þeir flyja tónlist sína samtímis í mörgum samhliða heimum og leyfa hljóðum að ferðast á milli gegnum augnabliksvíddargáttir sem opnast og lokast í sífellu með óútreiknanlegu millibili.
In the gloom of October 2015 the word went out, it would be slow and it would be loud. By early 2016 Morpholith was formed.
First presence was established late that year and soon after the first recording session for a ep began.
The music is tall, ominous and played with a maximum amount of amplifiers available, creating sonic wall of fuzz and sending you in a deep trance of psychedelic beats.
Witchking brings a low, slow, heavy groove to go. Doom, desert and three amigos start the evening with tunes from the dunes
